Bulletboys Drummer Dies in 405 crash
A 42-year-old man who perished in a crash on the 405 northbound freeway early Sunday morning has since been identified as Bullet Boys drummer Johnny Giosa, of West Hollywood. Giosa was traveling around 4 a.m. when his car apparently ran into a concrete overpass pillar for reasons unknown. It was near the Culver City/Inglewood border. Solo Car Crash Claims Mission Viejo Man
A 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at 12:17 p.m. on Monday afternoon after driving his Toyota 4Runner over the edge of Ortega highway near Lake Elsinore. The California Highway Patrol reports that they are unsure if the crash was intentional or unintentional. Witnesses have described the man’s path as traveling eastbound when he unexpectedly drove directly into the westbound lane and off the edge. Man Crashes Into Power Pole
A 27-year-old man crashed his car into a power pole Sunday, August 28, at 11:31 p.m, knocking out power in the surrounding areas. He was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. The crash occurred on Vista Chino, just east of Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs, and caused a power outage to surrounding establishments as far south as Ramon Road, according to reports.
