According to news sources, a high-speed pursuit that began in Sacramento ended with the arrest of the suspect Wednesday when the vehicle he was driving went through a spike strip deployed by authorities involved in the chase. The incident took place near Davis when a Sacramento deputy attempted to pull over a 2006 Jeep for a traffic violation, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
