A Canadian driver from Alberta has saved four kids from being hit by a car, according to the news. The man who’s now under the spotlight, saw the kids on a crosswalk and noticed a distracted driver about to hit them when he pulled into the road with his Hummer and hit the car to save the kids. According to a series of news agencies, a driver from Katy, Texas was unfortunately killed while texting and driving. The accident report claims he struck the back of a semi-truck and was killed upon impact. The driver was reportedly using what a local Police Trooper described as a palm-pilot at the time of the crash, and was looking down while driving.
