Drunken driving arrests around Valentine’s Day have increased dramatically, according to a recent announcement released by the California Highway Patrol. A spokesperson for the CHP has revealed that the DUI activity has unfortunately increased around Valentine’s Day in the past years in the state but was still unsure about this year’s Valentine’s Day arrests. According to news sources, a 26-year-old man involved in a car collision with another car near Coarsegold is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. The accident reportedly happened after the suspects car crossed over the center double-yellow line and proceeded to travel into opposing traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.
