According to the California Highway Patrol, a distracted driver caused a four-car accident Thursday on in Elk Grove, say news reports. Authorities report that around 8:00 a.m. the male driver of a Camaro was traveling in the No 1. lane of northbound Highway 99 when he rear-ended a Honda Civic.
