A man died Tuesday night in a fiery collision between a pickup truck and a construction vehicle in Escondido, report news sources. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 1994 Toyota Tercel passenger car southbound on Interstate 15 before the vehicle moved on to the transition ramp to Old Highway 395 at a high rate of speed.
