Honda, the giant Japanese automaker, announced today that they’re expanding an existing recall for faulty SRS airbags in certain vehicles. The reason for the recall is that certain airbags could inflate with too much pressure, causing injury to the passenger. Additionally, when the airbag is deployed, the abrupt increase in pressure could cause the casing of the inflator to rupture. With this there is a possibility that fragments of airbag parts could scatter and injury the occupants of the vehicle. (read more)
