The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has proposed new laws in regards to the hours truckers work, in an effort to reduce fatigue-related accidents, according to news sources. The proposed new safety law would reduce allowable driving time from the current 11 hours (during a 14-hour shift) to 10 hours.
