According to news sources, a 10-year-old boy was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after a truck ran him over as he left his south Sacramento elementary school. The FedEx truck was traveling northbound on Caymus Drive near Beitzel Elementary School, where the boy attends school. Upon turning left on Chantal Way the boy reportedly ran onto the crosswalk and was struck by the vehicle, according to a California Highway Patrol officer. Man Killed In Fatal Freeway Accident
A man helping a friend with a tire change on the Ventura Freeway was killed Saturday night after a car traveling on the road drifted towards the right shoulder of the roadway where the man was standing and struck him, according to news sources.
