Media sources reported that three juveniles were taken into custody following a short pursuit by Merced County Sheriff’s deputies in Planada late Wednesday night. According to Deputy Tom MacKenzie, a sheriff’s office spokesman, the incident occurred at about 11pm Wednesday when deputies responded to several reports of shots being fired in the vicinity of Broadway and Cabrillo Street.
