Shasta County Court Throws Out Wrongful Death Case

News sources report, a wrongful death lawsuit stemming from the 2008 alcohol poisoning death of a teenage Redding girl at a friend’s house has been tossed out by a Shasta County Superior Court judge. The judge ruled that the girl’s parents, who had brought the suit against the friend and her family, could not legally prevail at trial.
