The presence of Salmonella has been linked to several recalls in the past couple of months. According to the Food and Drug Administration, cherry tomatoes are being recalled by Rio Queen Citrus, Inc. over a possible Salmonella contamination. The report shows that 840 cartons of 12/1 Dry Pints of Mexican cherry tomatoes were recalled after the federal agency tested a random sample of these products.
