A big rig crash in Indio caused irrigation pipes to spill on Interstate 10, shutting down all westbound traffic for nearly two hours Monday evening, report news sources. According to the California Highway Patrol, at about 5:30 p.m. the flatbed truck was traveling in the slow lane at Jefferson Street when it suddenly veered to the right, clipping a column of an overpass bridge.
