An unidentified female pedestrian was struck and killed by a minivan Saturday night on southbound Highway 82 in San Jose, report news sources. According to the San Jose Police Department, at approximately 9:45 p.m. a 1996 Dodge Caravan driven by a 50-year-old San Jose woman struck the pedestrian, whom authorities describe as a Latino woman in her mid-30s to early 40s, on the Monterey Highway between Old Tully Road and Umbarger Road. Diver in Fatal Crash to Face Homicide Charges
Police announced that a driver involved in a fatal East Palo Alto crash Friday night will be arrested upon her release from the hospital, report news sources. According to police, at around 10:30 p.m., officers allegedly witnessed the unidentified 25-year-old woman driving recklessly at Pulgas Avenue and Camellia Drive.
