In a news release, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Target Corporation, announced the voluntary recall of Embark Resistance Cords and Cord Kits because of their potential injury hazards. The recall affects around 447,000 units of the resistance cords and cord kits and is effective immediately. In a press release, Dr. Reddy’s, a pharmaceutical manufacturer, announced the recall of approximately 60,000 bottles of their generic Zocor, also known as simvastatin, due to the presence of a musty odor caused by contaminants. In a press release, Chrysler Group LLC announced the recall of 2008 Dodge Grand Caravans and 2008 Chrysler Town & Country models to replace a part of the airbag system known as the occupant restraint control module or ORC.
