The California Highway Patrol has reported that a 50-year-old man from Castroville sent to the hospital with serious injuries after an accident that happened in north Salinas. The reports show that the man was trying to turn left from the northbound lanes of Highway 101 to the westbound lanes of Espinosa Road when an oncoming 2006 Land Rover LR-3 hit his vehicle.
