A Grass Valley man suffered major injuries on Saturday when his motorcycle collided with a fence, according to news reports. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 48-year-old man was riding just east of Grass Valley when his 2007 Harley Davidson went off the road. The vehicle hit a chain link fence, two metal fence posts and a water connection used by fire hoses.
