In a press release Wednesday, Toyota announced the recall of about 82,000 hybrid SUVs that were distributed across the United States due to computer boards in the vehicles with possible faulty wiring. The recall affects the Highlander and Lexus-brand SUVs from the 2006 and 2007 lines and is confined to the vehicles sold in the US, with no other models included.
