A local city known as Mission in Kansas will start fining drivers for talking on mobile devices while driving any type of vehicle.
This ban adds to the existing state-wide restriction, which now bans texting while driving. The local police department will post signs to warn drivers of the extended law and the dangers of texting while behind the wheel across town.
If this law is approved, violators will face a fine up to one-hundred dollars if they decide to text and drive.
