Texting And Driving Bans Stir Debates

As texting while driving becomes an increasingly problematic trend across the country, communities are considering steps to curb the dangerous behavior.

According to the news, in Naples, Florida a 26-year-old driver totaled his car and crashed into a parked fire truck while reaching for his cell phone. University police at FGCU have been on the lookout for students irresponsibly using their phones while operating their vehicles, while students are split as to whether or not this should be considered a punishable offense.
