According to a recent accident report issued by the California Highway Patrol, two accidents have reportedly blocked the Highway 126 early this morning.
The official accident report released by news agencies has revealed that the first accident took place on the Highway 126 near the East Briggs Road off-ramp when a pickup truck drove off the road and overturned. The troopers who responded to the accident scene revealed that the vehicle was found about 30 feet off the road, crashed against an embankment. According to the California Highway Patrol, the second accident happened when a vehicle hit the center divider for unknown reasons. The sand that was scattered on the roadway was also provoking minor incidents, which prompted the rapid freeway closure by the California Highway Patrol.
As of now, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the accidents and should have more details available soon.

Hopefully, the authorities closed down the Highway 126 before any more accidents occurred. I’ve seen many accidents like these and I know that they can result in several fatal consequences, I’m glad that no major injury was reported. I encourage drivers to be extremely aware of debris on the road while driving near accidents scenes. Stay safe by staying alert at all times.
