According to several publications, an auto crash that took place on the connector road that links the southbound 57 Freeway and the eastbound 60 Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol troopers who responded to the scene claim that a 41-year-old man from Rancho Cucamonga was driving a tractor-trailer truck at high rates of speed just before it entered the connector road, which forced the man to brake hard to attempt to negotiate a curve. At the same time, a 2008 Honda also entered the connector road. The driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle, which overturned and fell on top of the Honda.
Both vehicles blocked the road. Only minor injuries were reported.
