According to a series of local news articles recently released, a crash that took place on Interstate 10 last Tuesday and that involved an SUV vehicle has been reported.
The official accident reports issued by the California Highway Patrol and other law enforcement agencies have demonstrated that a woman driving a white Suzuki SUV was traveling on the westbound fast lane of the interstate when a Honda suddenly entered the freeway unexpectedly and pulled right in front of her. According to the official reports, the Suzuki driver attempted to avoid an accident by swerving abruptly, which forced the vehicle to roll over, cross several lanes and land on its roof just west of Washington Street.
The vehicle that landed 20 feet off the roadway presented serious damages, according to official reports.
California Highway Patrol officers who responded to the scene claim that the driver didn’t suffer any injuries and that her 1 ½ year old passenger was rushed to the hospital as a precaution after being trapped into a child seat for some time.
Troopers who responded to the scene also claim that the Honda driver pulled over after seeing the accident and was cooperative.
At this moment, the California Highway Patrol is investigating this accident and more details should be made available any time soon. Hopefully, the child that was trapped in the crashed vehicle hasn’t been injured in any way and is now fully recovered from the crash.
