As a Los Angeles car accident lawyer, I highly recommend taking necessary precautions if you find yourself in a roadside emergency, such as remaining in your vehicle until help arrives with the doors locked and seat belt secured, and if you must step outside to get help make use of bright lights/reflectors to make yourself visible. A distress signal such as a raised car hood can be helpful for alerting authorities you are in an emergency. If you are involved in a roadside car accident, a car accident attorney Los Angeles can assess your case.
